Environmental Responsibility Through Education

Educational programs are available for student, community or civic groups within the West Central lowa Association service area. Whether in person or through virtual technology, we’ve got recycling and landfill lessons to educate students of all ages.

  • Lesson plans are free to use and include vocabulary words and activities to reinforce recycling and disposal practices at home, in the classroom or place of business.

  • Our YouTube videos are packed with live footage, taking viewers into the recycle center and onto the working face of the landfill for an up-close experience of our integrated solid waste management practices.
